The development of Internet and information technology puts forward the innovation of teach-ing ways.The multimedia courseware is made by streaming media technology which provides mutual teaching with video frequency, audio frequency, text and pictures for students. The development trend, specialty and meaning of network teaching are discussed, the need and feasibility of constructing network teaching systems are expatiated on, and the concrete measures to organize electronic information resource retrieval courses in network teaching are brought forward.
