从西部生态环境历史和现状出发 ,阐述了退耕还林还草的必要性和现实问题 ,并从西部生态环境建设的实际问题入手 ,提出了ＲＳ和ＧＩＳ支持下的解决方案 ,为西部生态环境建设提供科学依据。
