摘要
苏南五通组风暴沉积,以无锡、江阴一带为最,发育在滨海带,为近源风暴沉积。风暴层面上发育一种特殊的大波痕,作者称其为三脊波痕(tri-ridge ripple marks)。这种波痕为风暴旋涡流在水底相互干涉的结果,应视为风暴沉积的重要标志之一。
The Wutong Formation of Upper Devonian is widely distributed in Southern JiangsuProvince and storm deposits developed in many places in this formation. According to theanalysis characteristics,the storm deposits are considered to be proximal facies developedin litteral environment. A new kind of mega-ripple marks were found in the storm de-posits and named“tri-ridge ripple markes”which were resulted by interference of stormvortex flow in water bottom. So the authors point out that the tri-ridge ripple marks areone of discriminative feature for storm deposit especially for proximal storm deposits.
