根据大量数据及实例,在阐述世界油气勘探趋势及特点的基础上,引出石油地质学新进展的若干重要方向:板块构造学说的应用、有机地球化学的应用、地震地层学的应用、储层评价技术研究、数学地质和计算机技术的应用等。
Based on a large number of data and examples,the present trends and characteristicsof world petroleum exploration have been summarized.By a research and analysis,thispaper suggests the new development of petroleum geology,the application of plate tecto-nics theory,organic chemistry,seismic stratigraphy and mathematical geology,as well asthe technique of reservoir assessment.
