摘要 At present, humanity is suffering from affliction caused by cancer, cardiovascular disease, viral infection, aging and other human disease, which are seriously increasing. The spread of these diseases is leading to social crisis, thereby threatening human civilization. To conquer these human diseases,it has become necessary ot find new ways to understand the mechanisms of disease genesis,as well as to discover new drugs specific for these diseases. One possible way is“Regulation of DNA Replication and Human Diseases”.\;As discussed in the afore\|mentioned articles, the most essential aspect of biology is DNA replication. The interactions between some factors in cell regulation network and cell cycle form the regulation system of DNA replication, which allows the cell to finish exact DNA replication and to maintain stability of the genome. As stated in this review, many unknown questions related with cancere cell proliferation, cell pathogenesis or ageing and viral replication are raised in the relationship between regulation of DNA replication and human diseases.Based on the developments of biological science, the study of “Regulation of DNA Replication and Human Diseases” has an abundant potential of original and sustained innovations,as well as being an important developmental step of modern biomedical research area in the post\|genomic era.Upon the application of systematic longitudinal difference studies that are embodied in the methodology of Bio\|omics,the studies of “Regulation of DNA Replication and Human Diseases” could profoundly explore DNA mutations, regulation factors and metabolic molecules related closely with human diseases. This information could offere theoretical basis and exact targets for new drug devlopments to inhibit candcer cell proliferation,to reverse pathogenetic or aged cells, and to prevent viral replication. This will result in the creation of new and innovative ways to treat human diseases. In conclusion, the studies of “Regulation of DNA Replication and Human Diseases” possess great significance in the theoretical development of biomedical science, and therefore colud produce immense economcic and social benefits.
