栗蒲壳营养丰富，吸水性强，透气性好，粉碎后可以作为平菇生产的培养料，按栗蒲壳50％、棉籽壳25％、锯木屑25％混合成培养料生产平菇，则平菇的生产成本低、效益高。
Productive, absorptive and ventilative, outer shells of Chinese chestnuts can be crushed into dust for the culture of mushroom. With 50% outer shells of Chinese chestnuts mixed with 25% shells of cotton seeds and 25% sawdust, a record of high production and low consumption can be maintained.
