On Economic Development

经济发展是以人为中。心的发展理论，即随着经济增长和产业结构的升级引起经济条件、社会条件、科技和文化条件等一系列深刻变化，使人类文明程度越来越高。特别是本世纪最后10年来，世界经济一体化进程加快，经济持续发展成为共同的目标，知识经济成为经济发展的主要标志，我国应执行全方位的合作和发展方针，为知识经济发展提供良好的条件。

The econony developing theory takes human being as the core. With the economy growth and the upgrade of industrial structure, a series of profound changes have taken place in economy, society, science and culture consequently, the mankind become more and more civilized. Especially since the last decade of this century, with the accelerating of world economic integration, ecomic continuous development has become the common target, and knowledge economy has become the symbol of economic development. In every respect, Chinese govemment should pursue cooperative and developing policy to create a good situation for the development of the knowledge economy.
