提高中国土地承载量的对策

Problems with Land Bearing Capacity and their Solutions

就土地承载量而言，中国是一个土地资源和耕地资源都很贫乏的国家。目前，中国的土地承载量是16亿人口。以目前人口增长速度测算，到2O20年中国人口将达16亿，形势非常严峻。为此，应采取保护好现有耕地，强化环境保护，控制人口增长，大力发展高新科技等对策来改变现状应付挑战。

Land bearing capacity refers to the limit of population which the land can support under given production requirement, under given land production capacity and under given living standard. In light of this, the land resources in China, both cultivated and uncultivated, are very limited. The land bearing capacity of China is 1.6 billion at present, and the situation in this respect becomes very serious in China because of 1. 6 billion population which there will be in china at talay's population inceasing speed by 2000. Therefore, measures as follows must be taken to solve this problem: strength environment protection and protect the cultivated land in China, control the population increasing; devote major efforts to developing high science and technology, etc.
