RESEARCH ON TEXTURE AND STRUCTURE TYPE OF HETIAN JADE IN XINJIANG

通过对新疆和田玉显微结构的观察和研究，按其主要矿物透闪石组分的表现形式，较为系统地划分了和田玉的结构类型，并就各种显微结构与其相应手标本的质地加以对比。对研究和田玉形成的成因提供科学的依据，同时对其开发和利用有着重要的实际意义。

This paper discusses texture characteristics of Hetian Jade in Xinjiang. Based on the forming patterns of tremolite mineral, the texture troes of Hetian Jade are suggested. And also it discusses the relationship between the texture types and their source rocks. The achievement of study provides scien- tific basis for the genesis of Hetian Jade. Meanwhile, there are the triportant points in reality for devel- opment and use of the Hetian Jade.
