摘要
提出将电吸收调制器(EAM)应用于数字光通信信号监测的频差法测量中,大大简化了传统频差法测量的复杂性。在实验中,对10GHz正弦光信号序列取样,得到100MHz的低频信号波形。分析了EAM的取样窗口宽度与测量系统带宽之间的关系,并提出利用两步模型分析取样宽度对伪随机码信号取样测量的系统带宽的影响,提出采用高斯低通滤波器能够很好的估算EAM取样窗口宽度与取样系统带宽的关系。分析表明,EAM同步取样系统在测量实际数字光通信系统中具有很大的应用潜力。
A novel optical monitoring scheme, which uses electroabsorption modulator (EAM) as the sampling component was presented. 10 GHz optical analog signal with sine waveform was measured in sampling experiment, 100 MHz low frequency waveform was observed. Two-step method was used for analyzing the sampling bandwidth on optical digital communication. Gauss shape filter can perfectly simulate the effect of the EAM sampling width. Our analysis indicate that the EAM monitoring scheme is a promising scheme for monitoring future wideband optical communication network.
