摘要
图像压缩需要快速编码,并行处理技术是一种高效的图像压缩技术.向量量化是一种很有前途的压缩方法,并且非常适合并行处理.提出了一种新的向量量化并行处理结构,该结构能明显减少通信延迟.
Parallel technology is an efficient method for image compression because the encoding/decoding needs fast processing. Vector quantization is a hopeful image compression method and very suitable for parallelism. A new parallel architecture is presented for encoding of vector quantization. The new parallel architecture can deduct communication latency obviously.
