20世纪古代散文研究相对薄弱。通过对这一时期古代散文批评范式演变的总结 ,认为其根本原因在于批评标准和方法模糊不清 。

The author holds that 20th century criticism, while focused on poetry and fiction, has ignored ancient essay writing and this is largely due to the lack of a critical criterion and of a clear critical methodology. The paper further proposes suggestions for future studies in this field.
