本文主要探讨了隐喻的定义,普遍性及构成,以便人们对现代英语中的隐喻有进一步的了解。
On mentioning metaphor, many people will think of it as a figure of speech. However, it is not only a figure of speech, but a phenomenon of perception. This article mainly focus on the definition of metaphor, its universality and its formation ,in order for people to have a further understanding of metaphor in modern English.
