江西省28个县实施综合措施降低孕产妇死亡率

Comprehensive measurements were carried out to reduce the mortality of pregnant and lying-in women in 28 counties of Jiangxi Province

为实现“两纲”目标 ,结合“降消项目”实施方案要求和全省实际情况 ,开展实施以加强县、乡两级产科和县级危急孕产妇抢救中心建设 ,转变农村接生员职能和采取新的培训方法进行培训等内容的综合性措施。在 2 8个县实施两年 ,取得了显著成效。 2 0 0 1年 2 8个项目县平均孕产妇死亡率 37.8/ 10万 ,较 1999年下降了 5 5 .6 %。

In order to realize the targets of 'Two Outlines', the comprehensive measurements were conducted combining with the required implement steps of 'Reduction and Elimination Items' and whole provincial practical conditions, which include the construction of obstetrics departments at county and village levels and the county emergency pregnant and lying-in women first aid center, shift of the country birth-givers' function and new training methods and so on. Over the last two years in 28 counties, the significant efficacy has been achieved. The average mortality of 28 items counties of 2001 was 37.8/10 5, which has reduced 55.6% compared with that of 1999.
