A Brief Account of the Chinese Humanist Spirit

中华人文精神就是自古以来中华民族各种文化所形成的基本的文化精神和优良品格,其影响了中华民族的文化心理、行为方式和价值理想,是中华民族传统文化中的主导性文化精神,其以人为本,凭藉礼乐诗书伦理教化,达到人与自然、人与社会的高度和谐,进而演成社会的礼义准则,促使社会的和谐进化,使中国社会和中华民族在强大的文明活水的浇灌下生生不息地传承发展。

Chinese humanism is the basic civilization and high-grade character formed by all kinds of cultures of Chinese nation long in history. It is a dominant factor of traditional Chinese culture which struck a big influence on the mentality of Chinese culture,on people's way of act on human values.Chinese humanism,based on people,enlightened by rite,music,literature and moral, made human and nature,human and society become highly harmonious,then evolved into rite code of the society, thus led the harmonious evolvement of Chinese society,led the constant development of Chinese society and Chinese nation with the strong and fresh influence of civilization.
