Hi-tech military techniques and the international political relations ——Notes on the war on Iraq

美国在伊拉克战争中展示的高科技军事手段,有助于美国推进其军事、政治、国际三大战略。但高科技军事手段具有自身的局限性,伊拉克战争没有根本改变国际政治关系。高科技军事手段不是单边主义的通行证,美国面临着国际关系(与盟友、与联合国、自我定位)的重大抉择。伊拉克战争没有终止伊拉克民族国家的历史,而是提供了一个民族主义发展的契机。

The hi-tech military techniques displayed by America in the war on Iraq are helpful to the promotion of its military, political and international strategies. However, the hi-tech military techniques have their limitation, and this war did not succeed in changing thoroughly international political relations. The hi-tech military techniques did not mean any unitary diploma, and America itself is facing its important choice in international relations (with friendly bloc, with United Nations, and itself in positioning). The war on Iraq did not cut off the Iraqi history as a national state, but instead provided a chance for the growth of nationalism.
