AN AESTHETIC ANTHROPOLOGICAL SURVEY OF THE HEIYI-ZHUANG

黑衣壮的艺术、文化习俗和他们的现实生活有着密不可分的关系。黑衣壮地区仍然处于自然经济阶段 ,艰苦的现实生活使黑衣壮人民更加依赖于族群共同体。为在恶劣的自然环境中生存和发展 ,黑衣壮形成了自己独特的民族传统 ,如积极维护共同体的利益、实行严格的族内婚制等。这也反映在他们的艺术和文化习俗上。黑衣壮的舞蹈和山歌艺术作为一种审美意识形态 。

The artistic cultural customs of the minority Zhuang in black (the so called Heiyi Zhuang) are closely connected to their everyday life. The Heiyi Zhuang are still living in the stage of natural economy. The arduous living conditions force the people to rely greatly on the community. In order to survive and develop under the adverse natural circumstances, the Heiyi Zhuang has formed its unique national tradition, such as upholding the common interest of the community, exercising the rigorous system of marrying within the community. This is also reflected in their artistic and cultural customs. As an aesthetic ideology, the dance and folksong of the Heiyi Zhuang embody a concentrated reflection of their living situation and of the transcendence of the hardship of their life.
