This paper enumerates and classifies antithetical couplets about flowers and trees from various aspects, including describing scenery, demonstrating talent, uniting by marriage, clarifying truth, expressing commemoration, cracking |okes etc. It also analyses some antithetical couplets in brief so as to appreciate together.
