摘要
语言与文化密不可分。但长期以来 ,大学英语教学对文化的导入重视不够。事实表明 ,文化背景知识的缺乏往往导致“文化休克”。因此 ,应将文化导向型外语教学模式引入外语教学 ,使其成为大学外语教学的有机组成部分。既要传授语言知识 ,更要注重文化知识。通过中西文化异同的比较 ,进行深层次上的文化教学 ,增强学生对文化差异的敏感性 ,提高文化领悟力 ,培养跨文化的交际能力 ,达到预期的大学英语教学目标。
Language is closely related to culture.However,insufficient attention has been paid to the cultural introduction.Facts show that lack of cultural background knowledge often leads to cultural shock.Therefore,culture-oriented foreign language teaching(FLT)should be introduced and become an organic component.More emphases should be laid on cultural knowledge besides language knowledge.By comparing similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign cultures,we can implement culture teaching at deeper levels,develop students' cultural sensitivity awareness and intercultural communicative competence and reach the desired targets.
