摘要
康有为揭橥孔子和经学的旗帜 ,并借用西学对其进行改铸 ,从而把孔子塑造成君主立宪政体的缔造者 ,把经典改造成君主立宪政体理论的载体。康有为之所以能这样做 ,与经学与时俱进的特征、自身学贯中西的知识储备以及现实社会的需要有很大关系。康氏所为 ,开援西入儒之先河 ,拓展了儒家的外王学与内圣学 ,促进了思想的解放 ,对构建当代新文化也具有借鉴意义。
Holding high the banner of Confucius and the study of Confucian classics, Kang Youwei reshaped Confucius with Western theories, making him into the founder of the constitutional monarchy system and the Confucian classics, and into a vehicle of the system's theories. The reason why he has done this has much to do with that the study of Confucian classics is itself characterized by its keeping abreast with the progress of times, and that he himself is very well versed in both Chinese and Occidental cultures, and with the need of the then society as well. What Kang has done indicates that he is the first person who has integrated Occidental culture into Confucianism, widened Confucius' doctrine being a Kingly Man in appearance and a Divine Sage in substance (Wai Wang and Nei Sheng), and promoted the liberation of thoughts, thus offering an example to follow in constructing a new contemporary culture.
