Promoting Undergraduate Degree Program Education in the Major of the Chinese Language

转变当前高校对外汉语教学以非学历教育的语言培训为主的局面,发展汉语本科学历教育,事关对外汉语教学学科的发展,而保证汉语言专业本科教学质量是发展学历教育的关键。就如何推动汉语言专业本科教学的科学化、规范化,从生源筛选和课程设置两方面展开讨论。

To promote the cause of teaching Chinese as a second language, we have no choice but further the undergraduate degree program education in the Chinese language to change the unsatisfying situation that most universities still focus on non-degree language training in this field. To make undergraduate degree major education prosper, the standard of teaching must be maintained and improved. This article reviews the problem of how to regularize the undergraduate degree program education in the Chinese language in the perspective of student-screening and curriculums. 
