According to the influence of flow condition of plane gate on discharge coefficient, the conditions of water flow of sluice are classified. Through experiment analysis, the applicable conditions of the discharge coefficient calculation formula of plane gate are discussed in detail and classified so that the hydraulic calculation of gate can be easily and correctly carried through. Thus, the research can provide references and basis for engineering calculations.
