Based on the characteristics of 'Code for Construction Quality Acceptance of Building Water & Wastewater and Heating Engineering' GB50242 - 2002, the writer studies the new code and analyses it in seven aspects. Some shortcomings are pointed out and methods for improvement are also suggested.
