We established the level scheme of 145Tb for the first time. The excited states below 2 MeV have been interpreted qualitatively by coupling an h11/2 valence proton to the 0+, 2+, 4+ and 3- excited states in the 144Gd core nucleus, and the yrast levels in excitation energy range from 2.1 to 3.4 MeV have been suggested from the (πh211/2d-15/2/g-17/2) proton excitations or the couplings of the h11/2 proton to the 5- and 7-
