张建福教授诊治腰椎间盘突出症三步法分别为 :①手法采用四指推法或扌衮法治疗 ,以活血化瘀 ,舒筋活络 ,解除痉挛 ,松解粘连 ;②药物治疗采用骶管注射方法 ,减轻神经根炎性水肿 ;③功能锻炼贯穿于治疗全过程。

Professor Zhang combines three methods in the treatment of protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. He uses four fingers to knead the body in order to promote blood circulation, remove stasis, relax tendons, relieve spasm, and relieve adhesion. In terms of medication, he applies injections into sacral canal to reduce inflammatory edema of nerve root. Exercising is also indispensable to the whole course of treatment.
