肺胀从瘀论治

Lung-distention Treated by Focusing on Stasis

肺胀为一种虚实相兼的复杂证候。初病时气结在经 ,久病则气伤入络 ,有咳、喘、痰、肿四大主症。从瘀论治 ,选用血府逐瘀汤加减 ,以早期益气 ,中期化瘀 ,后期补益为主治之。此三阶段治法可化胸中血瘀 ,瘀血除 ,气血流通 ,诸症得缓而治。

Lung-distention is a syndrome of deficiency complicated with excess, manifested as qi stagnation in the channels at the initial stage, and cough, dyspnea, phlegm, and swelling on a long term basis. Modified Xufu Zhuyu Decoction should be used for this syndrome under the principle of replenishing qi at the early stage, dissolving phlegm in the middle stage, and invigoration at later stage. This method can remove blood stasis in the chest. When blood stasis is removed, qi and blood will flow smoothly, and all symptoms relieved.
