评王船山《诗经稗疏》

Comment on Wang Chuan-shan's ShiJingBaiShu

《诗经稗疏》是王船山研究《诗经》的代表作。《诗经稗疏》的学术成就,主要在名物训诂的辨正上,纠正了朱熹《诗经集传》中不少错误。这与他的学识渊博、考证详审和明察事理、格于物理、审于文理等多种方法的运用有关。它的成就在《诗经》研究史上具有重要的地位。但由于思想方法的局限,在思想内容的阐释上,一味尊古而显得"卫道",比朱熹保守、落后,影响了他对《诗经》研究的总体成就。

ShiJingBaiShu is Wang Chuan-shan's masterpiece of studying ShiJing. The academic achievement of ShiJingBaiShu lies in the study of dialectics. He corrected many mistakes of Zhu Jia's ShiJingJiZhuan. It had relevant with his profound knowledge and using many kinds of approaches. Its achievement had very magnificent position in the study of Shi Jing. But due to the limitation of the thought, in the explanation of the thought, he pursued ancient rules and more conservative and backward-looking than Zhu Jia and it influenced his total achievement in the study of Shi Jing.
