摘要
长期以来,韩、柳并称。韩、柳共同倡导的古文运动实际上是以文体改革为表、以复兴儒学为里的运动,对唐传奇并没有直接的影响。柳宗元所支持的能体现韩愈个人兴趣而不属于古文理论之内的"以文为戏"之说虽对传奇创作有一定的影响,但韩愈的那些为戏文还不是传奇作品;柳宗元创作了一些叙事散文,也写了一些传奇文,对唐代逞才掉文的娱乐性的虚构叙事创作有一定的影响,然影响并不如现在有些论者所肯定的那样大。
HanYu and Liu Zong-yuan shared the same fame for a long time. Indeed, Liu Zong-yuan had made a great contribution to the ancient prose in Tang Dynasty. But the ancient prose movement advocated by both of them is a movement with the style reform as its surface and Confucianism renaissance as its deep. It has no real influence to Tang Chuan Qi. Liu Zong-yuan supported the thought of embodiment of Han Yus personal interest but it didn't belong to the ancient prose theory of 'using articles as the play'. It had a certain influence to the writing of legend. Han Yu's writing didn't belong to the legend writing and Liu Zong-yuan created some narration essay and even some legend essay. He had a certain influence to narration writing in Tang Dynasty, but the influence is not as great as some writers mentioned.
