中世纪时期,英国人依据季节的变化安排一年的周期性劳作和生活,而这种周期性的劳作和生活又以各种节日划分阶段,在节日中人们按传统习俗和宗教举行各种活动。
In the Middle Ages, English people made arrangements for their regular work and life by the seasons of a year. There have been many festivals during a year as the marks, and the people have had various activities according to customs in the festivals.
