章学诚“六经皆史”说浅析

A Slight Inquiry of Zhang Xue-cheng's Theory of Six Confucian Classics Being History

"六经皆史"是章学诚在其《文史通义》的卷首提出的重要论断,关于这一命题,学术界说法不一。本文试从四个方面即"六经皆史"的提出、内涵、意义及阶级实质来通观章学诚"六经皆史"的全貌。通过具体论述认为,"六经皆史"是章学诚经世致用史学思想的核心,它是以持世救偏的姿态出现的,是封建社会后期的一种社会思潮,具有深远的社会意义。

It's an important argument put forward by Zhang Xue-cheng in the preface of the book 'Wen Shi Tong Yi' Regarding to this topic,there have been wide differences in the academic circle.This article focused on four aspects to give a general introduction of Six Confucian Classics being history,which include its reference,connotation,significance and its class essence.Through specific expounding Six Confucian Classics being history is the central idea of his historical thought.It has emerged to benefit the society with the attitude of revising old values flourished in the later period of feudalistic society and has had far-reaching influence.
