由日本引进的齐鲁股份有限公司氯碱装置的盐酸吸收塔上段为碳钢衬特种橡胶板,下段为整体石墨。从1996年起,该塔多处出现腐蚀泄漏,由于进口新塔价格太高,因此选择何种材料制作该塔已成为关键。经挂片试验,美国Dow化学公司生产的Derakane470-300树脂具有优异的耐盐酸腐蚀性能,并采用整体成型工艺制成了玻璃钢盐酸吸收塔,壁厚20mm。新塔于1999年9月投入使用,至2002年6月停工检查,树脂层完好如初。
In the chlorhydric acid absorber imported by Qilu Petrochemical Co. , Ltd from Japan, the upper section was carbon steel lined with special rubber plates and bottom section was fabricated from graphite. The absorber column had experienced corrosion leaks in manage places from 1996. As the cost of importing a new column was loo high, the selection of the material was very critical for the manufacturing of the absorber. The coupon testing showed that the Derakane 470 - 300 resin exhibited excellent corrosion resistance against chlorhydric acid. The new column which was manufactured with the Derakane 470 - 300 resin FRP 200 mm thick was put into operation in September 1999 and found free from corrosion in the turnaround in June, 2002.
