康熙朝雕漆初探

A Preliminary Study of Lacquer Carving of the Kangxi Pericxi

康熙朝有无雕漆,一直悬而未决。本文通过对故宫博物院所藏7件雕漆作品的造型、漆色、雕工、装饰纹样、款识等多方面的分析,认为康熙朝有雕漆,并推断为苏州制造。

It has long been debated whether or not carved lacquer was produced during the Kangxi pericxi. On the basis of an analysis of the moulding, colour, carving technique, decoration and marks of seven pieces in the collection of the Palace Museum, the author asserts that carved lacquer was definitely produced in the Kangxi period and, moreover, that it was produced by official workshops of the Suzhou Zhizaoguan (Provider of Supplies).
