英汉翻译过程中 ,对比两种语言的表达方式的特点及相关词汇用法 ,采用词汇类型对比 ,词义的选择 ,词类的转译等不同的翻译手法。本文重点分析了英语词汇的一词多义 ,一词多类 ,以及根据汉语言的习惯 ,翻译时适当给以增词和减词。

While translating from English into Chinese, we should contrast the characteristics of expression between the two languages and their vocabularies, and use the different approaches of translation. The paper analyses polysemy and poly-part and suggests adding or reducing words in translation according to Chinese language custom.
