On Narrative Art of The Sorrows of Young Werther

本文旨在通过对于《少年维特的烦恼》的叙事模式、叙事视角、文本中不同叙述话语之间的对话、感知的叙事功能、与传统文本的互文关系等几个方面探析《少年维特的烦恼》的叙事艺术,以期揭示该作品文本内部的基本建构及其所产生的效果。从某种程度上说,《少年维特的烦恼》开创了德国文学史上极其重要的一种倾向,那就是抒写人物的心灵和情感,表现内心的真实。

This paper aims to analyze the narrative art of this novel from the point of narrative model, angle of narration, narrative words and intertextuality. Thus the main artistic characteristics and its effect are shown to us. To some degree, this novel creates a new tendency in German literature history that works to reveal the inner world and emotions of the characters.
