摘要
本文所说的“虎患”是指在人类活动范围加大,老虎在其生存条件发生改变以后,离开深山,窜入城乡,伤人、危害家畜的事件。关于虎患的问题,正史上少有记载,作者查阅了东南地区的479种方志,发现明清时期的“虎患”,其发生的频率,地域范围,产生的危害性都超过以往,成为当地严重的野生动物灾害。本文认为东南地区之所以出现较严重的虎患,是因为生态环境人为地被严重破坏。
The Tiger-trouble in this article is an event that tiger leave from mountains to villages for hunting human beings and domestic animals. Those troubles were not recorded in normal history books. After looking for the local records, the author has founded a lot of Tiger-troubles, which happened more widely, more seriously in the period of Ming and Qing dynasties than before that time. The author thinks that the reason is that the ecological surroundings have been destroyed seriously in the area of Southeastern China.
