Monitoring the Legionella Pneumonia Infection in Children in Shanghai

目的 监测上海地区儿童军团菌感染情况。方法 采用改良微量凝结法,检测近期上海地区儿童疑似军团菌肺炎178例和住院肺部感染96例中军团菌感染的发生率。结果 在疑似军团菌肺炎中,确诊为军团菌肺炎19例,阳性率为10.67％,主要菌型为LPI和LP6;在住院肺部感染患者中发现3例军团菌感染,其中1例L.mic感染为上海地区首例儿童感染者。结论 当前儿童军团菌感染的发生率较20世纪90年代初呈显著下降趋势。

Objective To investigate the incidence of legionella pneumonia (LP) infection in children in Shanghai. Methods One hundred and seventy - eight cases of suspected LP and 96 cases of pulmonary infection admitted to our hospital were observed with modified micro - agglutination test (MAT). Results Among the suspected cases, the diagnosis was confirmed in 19 cases with the positive rate 10.6% , and mostly LP1 and LP6 on the bacterial type. In other admitted cases,there were 3 cases of LPlof 3 was L. mic which was the first child case reported in Shanghai. Conclusion This study showed that the incidence of LP infection in children was obviously lower than that in early 1990s.
