明代泰山石刻学述略

A brief account of Taishan stone inscriptions in the Ming Dynasty

有明一代,泰山石刻之学于金元中衰之后,"稍稍振起",在石刻的调查、著录以及研论上都略胜前代。特别是金石学家与泰山学者对上百种石刻所作的实地考察与登录,给后世提供了一份较为详细的岱刻索引,尤为后来的研究奠定基础。但由于受明代学风空疏的影响,明人泰山石刻之学存有严重的缺陷,这些学术局限,严重影响了岱刻研究的整体成就。

Taishan stone inscriptions,in terms of its investigations,recordings and research are slightly better than those of previous dynaysties.The onthespot investigations and recordings by empigraphists and Taishan scholars have provided a detailed index and foundation for later research.But due to the hollow academic atmosphere in the Ming Dynasty,the study of Taishan stone inscriptions has severe deficiencies,which in turn greatly affect the whole achievements of the former.
