Specialty Offering and Management in Higher Vocational Education

高等职业教育在专业设置与管理上既有别于普通高等教育,又区别于高专教育,要依据国家社会职业分类与行业标准、区域经济水平与产业结构、区域教育程度与教育资源以及国家职业资格制度等因素设置、调整、改造与建设专业,并体现专业柔性、灵活性、规范性、相互衔接性等原则,构建科学高效的高等职业技术教育专业设置与管理的运行机制。

Although higher vocational education has attribute of higher education, it is different from four-year college education on specialty offering and management. It offers, adjusts and improves specialty depending on national professional or industrial standard, regional economy development or industrial structure, regional education level or resource and national profession-title-system and so on. It also reflects principle of specialty flexibility, standardization and link up each other, etc to form scientific, efficient system of specialty offering and management.
