In the course of our newspaper industry's shift into the market economy, the design of newspaper layout exists as a visual art. It has dualism of beauty of art and technique. This paper discusses the rules of perfect combination of contents and patterns of newspapers by analyzing a series of obvious rules of present design of newspaper layout of our country.
