摘要 随着长江三峡水库蓄水及蓄水量的变化 ,必将引起库坝地区局部介质受力状态、介质物理性质和区域应力场等的变化 ,从而可能诱发水库地震。为有效监测库区地壳变形、构造断裂的活动趋势、库盘沉降及水库诱发地震活动 ,在库坝区建立水库诱发地震监测系统是必要的。 A high dam with 185 meter above sea level will be built for the Three Gorges res ervoir, which will accommodate water of 39.3 billion cubic meters in maximum and its impoundment will reach up to 175 meters in heigh t. The local stress status, medium propriety and regional stress field in and ar ound the reservoir will vary with the impounding and water fluctuation in the re servoir which will probably induce seismicity. In order to detect crustal de formation, tectonic fault displacement, sink of reservoir basin in the area and reservoir-induced seismicity, a monitoring system is set up. The paper introduc es the study on monitoring in Three Gorges, of the Yangtze River.
