在现代性追求的背景下,"文革"后小说经历了由主流意识形态的代言人到作为民间意识形态的精英话语和民间话语的演变,在理性层面上,反映为从历史批判到现实关注与历史虚无的并行。这一演变既是当代中国意识形态深刻的结构性裂变,同时也昭示了中国现代小说乃至全部文学艺术的未来发展。

In the enviroment for pursuing modernity, novels after the period of the Cultural Revolution have experienced a change in role from a mouthpiece for the main trend in the ideological sphere to a discourse of both the populace and the elite in the folk ideology, which, on the rational level, manifest themselves in the development from the historical criticism to the concern for reality in parallel with the historical nihility. The trace of the growth and decline of the historical criticism reveals a profound structural split in the ideology in modern China and indicates the orientation of the contemporary Chinese novels and the other literary art as well.
