摘要
"翻译语境"是翻译研究实践中一个重要概念,指双语相关语境因素的总和,它不仅包括原语和译语的语言符号内因素,还包含两种语言的情景语境和社会文化语境。翻译中的歧义现象普遍存在,语境可以消除歧义,保证信息的顺利传递;利用语境也可以制造歧义,取得修辞语用效果。所以提倡运用翻译语境观,从语用的角度处理翻译实践中碰到的歧义问题。
Translation Context, an important concept in translation theory and practice, is the sum of all relevant contexts of the source language and the target language .It consists of linguistic context as well as extra-linguistic context which can be subdivided into situational context and cultural context. Ambiguity is very common in translation. Context plays an important role in decoding ambiguity and helps the successful transmission of information in the translation process. In addition, context is often used to create pragmatic effects of ambiguity. Therefore, it is suggested that we should deal with ambiguity in translation from the pragmatic perspective, based on the application of context analysis.
