试论《呐喊》、《彷徨》的文化情结

ON THE CULTURAL COLPLEX IN OUTCRY AND HESITATION

《呐喊》、《彷徨》在文学史研究中一直被认为是"五四"新文学的经典性文本,代表着新文化的"反传统"特征,其实这并不完全符合这两本小说集的实际。《呐喊》、《彷徨》既表现了新文化的价值立场,也保留着一定的传统文化的价值立场。这种新与旧、现代与传统的错综纠缠,体现了鲁迅一种特有的文化情结,构成了《呐喊》、《彷徨》价值判断的多元性和思想意蕴的复杂性。

In the studies of the history of literature the two stories Outcry and Hesitation have always been considered two classical texts of the new literature in the period of the May 4th Movement, bearing the feature of anticonventionalities of the new culture. In fact this conclusion is not entirely in agreement with the actual content of the two stories. For on the one hand, the two stories show the value standpoint of the new culture, and on the other, they also retain in a way the value standpoint of the traditional culture. This entangled dispute between the new and the old, modernity and tradition embodies LU Xun's characteristic cultural complex and constitutes the multivalue judgment and the complexity of the ideological implication of the two stories.
