On the Scientific Tendency of Contemporary Philosophic Development

正如科学从哲学中逐步分化的过程并不意味着哲学丧失了自己的对象和本性,而是在这一过程中获得了一种层次上的跃迁一样,当代哲学的科学化取向也并不意味着哲学品性的下滑,更不意味着它将沦为工具化而丧失其内在魅力,而是在其科学化中实现了科学理性与人文理性的内在交融与整合,从而为哲学的发展开辟了新的自我生成之域。

The process in which science has evolved gradually for the differentiation from philosophy is not a process of philosophy's losing its object and inbeing, but a process of philosophy's gaining qualitative transmutation. In a similar vein, the contemporary trend of scientificalization in philosophy does not mean that philosophy has fallen low in morality or has lost its charm for its instrumentation role; philosophy has owed its creation of fresh domain to the convergence and mergence between scientific rationality and humanistic nous in the trend of scientificalization.
