The Same Theme With Different Tunes Each Having Variety Of Colors——Analysis of Weicheng Melody Vs Farewell to Dongda

《渭城曲》与《别董大》分别是王维和高适赠别诗的代表作之一。同是赠别诗,前者以其浑厚的离别之情和细腻哀婉的心态感人至深,而后者以其豁达的胸襟和豪放悲壮的风格使人折服;前者的渭城风雨缠绵低徊,而后者的塞外风雪豪迈悲壮。虽然其思想内容、取材与表达方式不同,但二诗都能给人以美的享受。

Weicheng Melody and Farewell to Dongda are one of the masterpieces of WangWei's and Gaoshi 's send-off poetry respectively.They belong to the same kind of send-off poems ,however,the former is very moving with simple and vigorous leaving feelings and exquisite and aggrieved mentality,while the latter is filled with great admiration due to optimistic feeling and solemn and heroic tune.The former's Weicheng seems filled with artistic mood in the shade of wind and rain while the latter's region north of the Great Wall appears to be bold and unconstrained.Although their ideas and mood,materials and expressions are totally different ,both poems give people ease and comfort.
