摘要
契诃夫在戏剧创作中将既有的、将有的和潜在的矛盾冲突或作淡化处理或安置在幕后,既无中心人物也无中心事件,使起承转合和戏剧冲突这样的戏剧性特色缺失;还有在戏剧的叙述、对话、景象插叙中对带有强烈主观色彩的“语调”的运用,以及突出人物个性的“语势”的运用,都使契诃夫的戏剧呈现了一种叙事作品的特色,在向传统戏剧程式挑战的同时,也为现代戏剧拓展方向。
In his drama works, Chekhov deals with the past, future and potential conflicts either by simplifying them or back -staging them. In so doing, there are neither protagonists nor central events, which results in the absence of such dramatic characteristics as transition and dramatic conflicts. In his dramatic narration, dialogues and scene interspersion, he utilizes keenly subjective 'intonation' and individuality -highlighting 'situations' , which reveals a strongly narrative feature in his drama. Chok-hov' s ways of dramatic creation as mentioned above extends the direction of modern dramas and challenges traditional dramatic patterns as well.
