中国美学的根本出发点是“人”,围绕着“人”来谈美从而使整个中国美学充满“诗意”的精神。中国美学是一种感悟的美学。西方美学的根本出发点是“物”,围绕着“物”来谈美从而使西方美学表现出一种“求知”的精神。西方美学是一种理性分析的美学。

The essential objective of the Chinese aesthetics is on'man'. With this as a focus, the Chinese aesthetics is full of'poetic features'. In fact, aesthetics in China is perceiving and awakening in nature. Yet, the goals of the Western aesthetics focus on 'materials' , giving a sense of seeking for knowledge. Hence it is reasoning and analyzing in nature.
