抗战时期,贵州出现了经济建设的机遇。贵州企业股份有限公司的创办、发展以及取得的成就,代表了当时贵州经济发展的水平。与此同时,一批经济人才、企业家、经济工作者,纷纷涌现在贵州高原。编辑出版贵州近现代经济资料,调查、研究、讨论贵州经济建设报告,以及理论研究文章和学术著作,如雨后春笋般的出现。实践出理论,理论又指导实践,这是抗战时期贵州经济建设发展繁荣的根本特征。

During the War of Resistance against Japan, there was good opportunity for Guizhou to develop its economy. The establishment and development of Guizhou business share limited companies and the achievements they made represent the level of economic development at that time, during the period of which, a group of economists, enterprisers and economic workers appeared on this highland. There came out a number of publications related to modern and contemporary economy in Guizhou, reports from investigations and studies about economic construction in the province, academic papers and books. Theories always come from practice and in turn guide advancement of practice. These are the outstanding features of economic development in Guizhou at that time.
