Digital signature is a most popular information secuity technuque in the Internet. It is used to ensure the integrality and undeniable sending of the information transmission in a public and untrustworthy network environ-ment. In this paper, the definiton, usage and basic principle of digital signatire are discussed, combining with the particular security architecture of Java2,A real example about digial signature based on Java2 is given in detail.
