The Three Gorges double-way and five-step shiplock is a massive civil and electromechanical works, dealing with constraining factors such as sophisticated technologies, tight time schedule, etc. The construction on schedule and successful trial navigation were based on contractual management, supported by construction organization design, study on overall schedule, total quality control, technical renovation and spirit of teamwork.
